4. The Marketplace Interaction

Meet Handloom acts as a bridge between Buyers and Sellers. However, it is important to understand that:

4.1 Transactions

  • Meet Handloom is not a party to any purchase agreement.
  • Buyers place orders as proposals to purchase; Sellers may accept or reject.
  • Meet Handloom does not guarantee:
    • Product authenticity or quality
    • Delivery timelines
    • Accuracy of Seller descriptions

4.2 Professional and GST Transactions

  • Buyers eligible for GST input credit must provide correct GSTIN details.
  • Invoices are issued via the Seller.
  • Moreover, we do not personally guarantee the absolute accuracy of every seller description.

5. Fees and Payments

Regarding costs, Meet Handloom may charge service or processing fees. All fees are displayed transparently in INR. Users are responsible for paying these amounts in compliance with Indian payment regulations.

6. Prohibited Use

To maintain a safe environment, you agree not to:

  • Post abusive or illegal content.
  • Promote discrimination or violence.
  • In addition, you must not sell counterfeit products or interfere with site security. Failure to comply may lead to account termination or legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the site, such as text and logos, is protected by law. You may use this content for personal use only if you keep the ownership credits intact. However, commercial redistribution is strictly forbidden.

8. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must follow strict guidelines to ensure quality. Specifically, they must attach correct shipping labels and pack items securely. For high-value shipments, a valid e-way bill is required. Notably, Meet Handloom is not liable for mistakes made during the seller’s packaging process.

  • Attach correct shipping labels with order number, recipient details, product information, and invoice
  • Pack products securely; fragile items must be marked
  • Use approved logistics providers and retain proof of delivery for 3 years
  • High-value shipments (≥ ₹50,000) require valid e-way bills
  • Report lost, damaged, or missing shipments promptly

Meet Handloom is not liable for Seller errors, packaging mistakes, or delays.


9. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

If you wish to return a product, you must request it within 7 days.

Refunds are generally processed within 7–10 business days. Please note that cancellations are only allowed before the item is shipped.

Items must be unused and in original packaging.

In the event of damage, report it within 48 hours.


10. Shipping and Insurance

To protect your purchase, all shipments are insured at no extra cost until delivery. Once the item is delivered, the responsibility shifts to the Buyer. Although we strive for timely delivery, factors like weather or strikes may cause delays.

Meet Handloom partners with verified logistics providers to ensure safe, secure, and timely delivery. Delivery times may vary due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Strikes or labor disruptions
  • Customs or international shipping delays

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect data solely for platform operations. This includes your contact details and transaction history. Rest assured, your data is stored securely and is never shared with unauthorized third parties.


12. Indemnity and Liability

By using this site, you agree to protect Meet Handloom from claims arising from your violation of these terms. As an intermediary, our maximum liability is limited to the value of the specific transaction in question.


13. Dispute Resolution

Initially, we will attempt to resolve disputes through negotiation. If this fails, the matter will be settled through arbitration in New Delhi. The final decision of the arbitrator will be binding for both parties.


14. International Transactions

For our international customers, please be aware that customs duties and taxes are your responsibility. Furthermore, shipping times may vary significantly due to international regulations.
